Thank you

Elaine & Derek Swan - Newcastle Upon Tyne - 3rd to 9th September 2023

So lucky to have made it 60 degrees North for a beautiful stay.  We've had lovely views, foggy views and Beautiful views in the sunshine but no matter what the weather the Island of Shetland is breathtaking.   Was fab

Teresa Kirkpatrick - Annan - 29th August to 3rd September 2023

Really enjoyed my stay, you all made me So Welcome.  Great views even the weather was kind to me - would definitely come back if you would have me.

Thank you

Tim - 14 years old & Stuart & Elena ❤️ - London - 22nd to 29th August 2023

Very much enjoyed a wonderful stay here accompanied by a wonderful view and a peaceful and luxurious interior.  Definitely worth the travel from London to the magical Shetland Islands!

Mike and Carice Allen – Shropshire/Cambridgeshire – 20th June 2023

Our second visit to Holsas. Just as wonderful as seven years ago! Thank you both!

Chris, Harriet & Hilary – Manchester & Sheffield – 3rd to 14th June 2023

Lovely & quiet cottage with friendly hosts. Everything well equipped.

Recommendations for things to do:

Jarlshof & Old Scatness for iron age, bronzeage & norse remains. Jarshof is amazing! They have a full iron age house minus the roof. If time, go up to Unst & the replica Longhouse & Viking boat.
Wildlife – Noss boat tour is great. Ian Towriess for otter guiding on Yell. Also the Mousa boat for Storm Petrels.
Scenery – Eshaness is amazing as is the scenery at Hermaness.
Food – Fjara is good, plus the beef from the Farm Shop is really good.
Recycling – glass recycling in Tesco, Lerwick car park (or outside Bigton Shop) at the far end from the shop & soft plastics recycling in the Tescos.

A great holiday & lovely place to stay.
